“The most common way people give up their power is by thinking they don’t have any” - Alice Walker
Life can be daunting. Living through it all with the right amount of zest requires a lot of willpower. But how many of us know this and strive for the relevance, joy, impact and peace we so desire to experience in our lives, family and finances?
Losing our willpower to live purposefully happens when we start to see ourselves as worthless. Believing the lie that we have no ability to make a change. The bad thing is that self-deprecation is a form of self-sabotage. Negative thoughts breed negative outcomes.
Thinking we are going to mess up, often sets us up to do just that. Luckily the opposite is also true. A positive outlook gives way to positive results. When we believe in ourselves, we rise to the occasion.
When we have faith in our abilities, we grow limitless. There is power in confidence. A power in knowing you are enough. In believing you are enough exactly as you are. You are so much stronger than you know. Your potential is boundless. All you have to do is believe.
So what if I told you that;
• You are only one thought away from living your best life?
Your thoughts are powerful and determine how you live and make decisions. When you choose to see things differently, you choose new paths and get better outcomes. This means that you can in effect change the past. Yes, you can. By giving things new meanings, you move yourself from being controlled by your circumstances to defining and designing where you would like to go.
So just because it has happened doesn't mean you can't change it. Change the meaning and surprise yourself by how differently you see things.
• There is a way to elevate. If we would shake off the shackles that bind us to a life of mediocrity by gaining clarity, we would be able to commit ourselves to the responsibilities that will help us elevate such as, learning and having a great community of people on the same mission as you.
• You are big deal! There is more to you than meets the eye. Get up and go for everything you ever wanted. You have to be more loyal to your future than to your past.
